Treatment of personal data
Information pursuant to art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“Data Protection Code”) provided by TT Budo International Srl to users accessing the website store.tretorri.org (hereinafter the “Site”).
Premise
TT Budo International Srl (hereinafter “TT Budo”), appreciating the importance of protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal data and considering the internet's great potential as a tool for exchanging and circulating information, will make every effort to comply with the rules of conduct – in line with Italian Legislative Decree 196 of 30 June 2003 (“Data Protection Code”) – that ensure safe, controlled and secure internet use. In light of this, users of the Site are invited to read the rules that TT Budo will follow when collecting and using personal data and when providing a satisfactory service to clients and users of the Site.
TT Budo’s basic principles for the use of personal details are:
- personal data will be used solely for the purposes and in the manner stated;
- in cases where prior authorisation for use of personal data is required, such usage will not occur without such express authorisation;
- personal data will only be made available to third parties when absolutely necessary for the provision of the service requested;
- customer requests to delete, update or supplement personal data and to decline the use of said data for advertising and marketing purposes will be respected;
- personal data will be managed correctly and lawfully, safeguarding privacy, and appropriate measures will be taken to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information collected.
Information pursuant to art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003
TT Budo International Srl, as Data Controller under the terms of art. 4, para. 1 (f) of Italian Legislative Decree 196 of 30 June 2003, hereinafter “Data Controller”, is responsible for supplying the following information. The Data Manager is TT Budo International Srl, with head offices at Via dell’artigianato 50, Corridonia (MC), 62014, Italy. The Person responsible for the processing is Igor Bonnet, domiciled for this purpose at TT Budo International Srl, with head offices at Via dell’artigianato 50, Corridonia (MC), 62014, Italy.
The data requested when you register at the Site are used to respond to any requests you might make and the main section dealing with data collection is the registration process. The registration form asks for both (1) data necessary for the fulfilment of any order you may place with us, without which we are unable to respond to requests, and (2) optional data, failing to provide which will have no impact on our ability to process orders or respond to requests.
All data processing on the Site is done principally by electronic or telematic means, in full compliance with security norms in force, for the following ends:
- to fulfil user’s purchase orders for one or more items for sale from TT Budo;
- unless otherwise requested by the user, for profiling purposes based on the types of purchases made, to carry out statistical surveys, market research and promotional activities;
- unless otherwise requested by the user, to carry out direct promotional activities through a periodic newsletter sent to the email address provided by the user when they registered at the Site.
For purposes connected to providing services to which the user has subscribed (purchasing items online, sending the newsletter, etc), the data may be made available to third parties who will be acting as autonomous Data Controllers (for example, but not limited to, credit card companies, courier services, postal services) and who provide services necessary for the fulfilment of the user’s requests. A complete up-to-date list of such third parties is available upon request from TT Budo International Srl, Via dell’artigianato 50, Corridonia (MC), 62014, Italy.
In addition, unless otherwise requested by the user, the data will be used to send marketing information about items for sale by TT Budo, including by email.
Personal data will be made available only to persons expressly authorised by TT Budo's Data Controller, who are directly concerned in the provision of requested services and who carry out the following functions: sales and marketing, administration, IT, customer service.
Reviewing, modifying and deleting personal data – your rights, art. 7, Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003
Your rights are guaranteed under art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 which is reproduced below in its entirety:
“You have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of your personal data, even if not yet recorded, and communication of the said data in intelligible form.
You have the right to be informed of:
- the origin of the personal data;
- the processing purposes and methods;
- the technology applied where the processing is carried out by electronic means;
- the identity of the Data Controller, the Data Manager(s) and the Person(s) responsible for the processing under the terms of art. 5 (2);
- the parties, or categories of parties, to whom the personal data may be disclosed or who may access the data as designated representatives in the territory of the Italian Republic, and as processors or appointees.
You have the right to obtain:
- the updating and correction of the data and, when it is in your interests, the inclusion of additional data;
- the deletion, transformation into an anonymous form or the blocking of access to the data processed in violation of the law, including data which is not required for the purposes for which the data was collected or subsequently processed;
- proof that those to whom the details were disclosed or disseminated have been notified of the operations described in subsections (a) and (b) above, unless the fulfilment of this task proves impossible or would require the use of resources that are clearly disproportionate to the rights being protected.
You have the right to oppose, in whole or in part:
- the processing of your personal data even if relevant to the purposes for which the data was collected;
- the processing of your personal data for purposes of advertising, direct sales, market research or other commercial purposes.”

What are cookies and how does TT Budo use them?
Cookies are small files of information that are sent by a website to your web browser and saved on your computer's hard disk. As required by Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and its related technical specifications, technical, logistical and organisational solutions have been put in place with the intent of preventing damage, loss (even accidental), alteration, improper use and unauthorised access to the data. The Data Controller cannot be held responsible, however, for false information supplied directly by the user (such as but not limited to the accuracy of an email address, credit card details or a postal address) nor for false information supplied by a third party, even fraudulently.
